Proxy Server Setup Tutorial
When a Windows Server acts as a proxy server it becomes a mediator between a Web browser and the World Wide Web. A proxy server also enhances performance on the network by storing copies of often accessed Web pages. Setting up a proxy server involves configuring the Web browser so it goes through the proxy server when attempting to access Web sites.
