Tektronix 2230 Specifications

    • The Tektronix 2230 is an oscilloscope, a type of electric test instrument used for observing signal voltages. It is manufactured by Tektronix, which is a test, measurement and monitoring technology company that was founded in 1946. The company has the largest portfolio of digital oscilloscopes available on the market.

    Storage

    • The Tektronix 2230 combines both digital and non-digital storage features. The digital storage mode features three waveform sets in the digital storage mode while the vertical system has calibrated deflection factors. The Tektronix 2230 also comes with an A X10 magnifier that maximizes the speed to 5 nanoseconds (ns) per division while the total bandwidth of the instrument is 100 megahertz (MHz).

    Sampling Rate

    • The digital sampling rate and the fast sampling rate of the Tektronix 2230 varies. While the maximum digital sampling rate is 20 megasamples per second, the fast sampling rate can detect glitches in signal glitches with a mere pulse width of 100 ns. The instrument also has a compression feature to ensure easy viewing.

    Options

    • You can view various voltage measurements by modifying how the cursors are displayed. In addition, the various menu options include "Delta time," "Delta volts" and "Delay time."
