Tips on Moving Diagonally in Dragon Ball Z: Super Sonic Warriors 2

    • "Dragonball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2" is the Nintendo DS sequel to the original Game Boy Advance action game. With an updated character roster that spans the cast of the television show, and a couple of signature moves, it is a frantic fighting game that requires quick reflexes to master. The digital pad of the Nintendo DS can make diagonal movement in the game tricky to pull off, and might require a bit of practice to master.

    Moving Diagonally While Flying

    • To move diagonally upwards, press and hold the up button, along with the left or right button on the d-pad. To move diagonally downwards, press and hold the down button, along with the left or right button. Depending on whether your character is on the left or right hand side of your opponent, you will move in a diagonal left, or right upwards direction, when you use this button combination.

Moving Diagonally While Playing on the DS Lite

    • Apply extra pressure to the d-pad when playing "Dragonball Z: Supersonic Warriors 2" on a DS Lite, instead of the normal DS. The d-pad on the DS Lite is known for having weak diagonals, so if you don't apply enough pressure, your character will move in a straight line instead of diagonally.

Moving Diagonally while on the Ground

    • When your character is on the ground, you will still be able to move in a diagonally upwards left or right direction, but not in a diagonally downwards direction. If your character's feet are on the ground, use the up button with the left or right button combination, in order to fly diagonally upwards in the desired direction. Pressing the down plus left or right button combination will only result in your character moving in a straight line. The character will not crouch.
