How to Increase Your Height With Insoles

According to Short Persons Support, short men have fewer romantic opportunities, have fewer children and are paid less, while short women report being taken less seriously at work. Insoles, also called shoe lifts or elevator insoles/inserts, come in a range of 1/2 inch to 2 1/2 inches, allowing you to build up your height gradually, if so desired. There are many products available in varying styles, heights and materials, so find the one that suits your feet.

Cut your insole to the exact measurement needed. There are guidelines on the base of the insole to ensure you get the right fit. Use a sharp pair of scissors to cut along the lines, one line at a time.

Prepare your shoes by loosening the laces if they are lace-ups. Open the shoe out further than you would normally as there will be less room once the insole is in place.

    • 3

Place the insole inside the shoe.

    • 4

Put your foot inside and tie your shoe back up. Walk around similar to the way you would in a new pair of shoes to ensure they fit correctly. If it is not an exact fit, take the insole back out and trim to the next guideline on the base of the insole.

Change height settings by slotting the medium or high pad into the insole and pressing down all over to ensure it sticks snugly. You can add or detract inches at any time.
