The 1522NF is a LaserJet printer that uses lasers and ionized toner, instead of ink, to print. This machine also features the ability to make copies, scan documents, and send faxes.

The dimensions of the 1522NF are 15.8 inches high, 16 inches deep, and 19.5 inches wide. It weighs 24.2 pounds. This printer features a high-speed USB 2.0 port for connecting to a PC, an Ethernet port for networking purposes, and a phone jack for sending faxes. The input paper tray can hold 250 sheets of printing paper while the output tray can handle 125 pages of printed material. A 2.5 inch LCD screen displays the current status of the printer and allows for the navigation of printer options.

The fax can send documents at a rate of 3 seconds per page. Built-in memory can save 300 pages of faxes as well. 120 numbers can also be stored in the speed dial memory for rapid faxing.

The 1522NF is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, and 7. It will also work with Mac OS X computers with Intel processors. 512 megabytes of RAM are required for both Windows and Mac computers. Macs need 100 megabytes of hard drive space to install the included software while Windows-based PCs need 250 megabytes.
